4 There are four special kinds of pronouns: 1.Demonstrative 2.Relative 3.Interrogative 4.Indefinite

5 A demonstrative pronoun points out a specific person, place, or thing. These are four demonstrative pronouns SingularPlural This That These Those

6 A relative pronoun begins a subordinate clause and connects it to another idea in the same sentence. There are five relative pronouns: that who whose which whom

13 Subject Pronouns Spanish has two pronouns for “you” – T Ú = YOU – U STED = YOU The difference relates to the “social register” – T Ú = YOU ( FAMILIAR ) – U STED = YOU ( FORMAL ) Because of its grammatical properties, usted will always be grouped with él and ella (like- wise, ustedes will be with ellos and ellas)
