It should outline the steps required to operate, maintain & expand the network. Procedures manuals are then used by the network administrator, network support techs, help-desk operator & visiting technical specialists, in order to help them perform maintenance tasks. It should also include the following: Description of techniques required for each procedure Configuration information for the various devices & software on the network.

The manual is intended to be used by the network admin, network support techs, help-desk operators & visiting technical specialists to help them perform necessary tasks.
