2. Employee of the Month Mr. Howard, our new Physics teacher, showed desire and dedication for his profession when he voluntarily switched classes with Mrs. Kite’s sub during advisory so that the students could continue to receive Chemistry instruction while Mrs. Kite had to be away.

3. Students of the Week SENIOR: Senior Michaela Blair shows responsibility and desire by completing several college applications this week. JUNIOR: Junior Natashia Thio shows kindness everyday with her willingness to help others and a smile. SOPHOMORE: Junior Van Nawl shows an admirable desire to learn in his classes. FRESHMAN: Freshman Shyann Dreibrodt consistently shows respect and kindness while working in collaborative groups.

12. Midland Teen Court Who can attend: All Students When: Sept. 17,24/Oct. 15,22,29/Nov. 5,26/Dec. 3,10 Location: Midland County Courthouse 500 N. Loraine Requirements: 1.Neat, conservative clothing: long pants or skirt. NO HATS, electronics, or gum. 2.Complete a blue juror form 3.Listen to testimony of various offenses and determine a constructive sentence for each case Activity: Jury members or Teen Attorneys Length: Arrive at 5:00pm sharp More Information: www.midlandteencourt.org Coach Rhoads gives extra credit for attendance
