5 Goals Goal 1: Create a national clearinghouse of exemplary geospatial curriculum material and database web services including: learning objects, training modules, geodatabases, and sources of GIS, GPS, and remote sensing data. This repository will be peer-reviewed, instantly searchable, Internet-based, and continuously updated.

6 Increase the capacity to educate geospatial technicians through new partnerships and collaborations, including articulation pathways between academic institutions and workforce-needs- assessment with industry partners. Goal 2

7 Increase the quantity, quality, and diversity of geospatial technicians to meet workforce needs. Goal 3

8 Increase the number of community college and secondary school teachers participating in professional development through the promotion of professional societies, informal education, and workshops, for example. Goal 4

9 Sustain the Center long-term by seeking collaborations and sources of funding to maintain and improve services and products. Goal 5
