5 Admission Requirements  Students must maintain a B+ average throughout their high school  Overall GPA and class rank  Extracurricular activities including leadership and community service  UNC-System minimum course requirements completed  Must create a wolfpaw account  They accept SAT and ACT scores being sent straight from the testing agency. They will not accept the SAT scores on your transcripts  A Self-Reported Academic Record (SRAR) provides students with control over their academic information. Students must contact each institution attended to obtain an unofficial transcript to complete the SRAR, then scan and upload the transcript(s) to wolfPAW  Unofficial transcripts from your high school is required

6 What academic programs is the school known for?  For Undergraduates, academic programs at NCSU is truly known for is in accounting, business administration and economics; which includes general studies in liberal arts and sciences. These academic programs are what help NCSU students a jumpstart in the business part of our society.

8 Scholarships  Shelton National Leadership Scholarship: It is awarded to an entering freshman, valued at $10,000 per year, renewable upon satisfactory academic progress and leadership involvement.  Requirements:  The application cover page with signed commitment statement  List and description of academic, work, community service, and extracurricular activities  Responses to short answer questions and essays  Chancellor's Leadership Scholarship  Requirements:  leadership potential, academic achievement, personal talents, unique work or service experience, financial need, overcoming personal adversity, and the candidate's understanding and appreciation of diversity. Only entering freshmen are eligible to apply for this award.

9 What programs or activities make this school appealing  Running a daily newspaper, deejaying for one of the nation’s top college radio stations, building robots, exploring improv comedy or dance and much, much more.  70 intramural and club sports programs, 23 Division I varsity teams and two recreation complexes encompassing 350,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor fitness space

10 What is the average SAT score, average GPA for the class of 2015-2016?  The majority of students that got into this school got an SAT score within the range of 1660 to 1930, or got accepted with an ACT composite score in the range of 25 to 30  it is estimated that the NC State average GPA range for accepted students is around 3.42 - 3.64

How many dorms are on campus?  Yes, NC state provides on campus housing.  They have at least 20 residence halls.  Avent Ferry Complex  Each room in Avent Ferry is equipped with a microfridge and Internet, with access to cable TV available for an extra charge. Rooms in Building F also have a common kitchenette with a mid-sized refrigerator, microwave and a sink. Each room in Avent Ferry also has its own bathroom and individually controlled air conditioning/heating units.
