1. Over the course of the past few weeks, you have worked with primary and secondary sources containing important information about both Meso-American civilizations and the Age of Exploration. Our next project will be to gather both primary and secondary sources to create a “Face Space” page for an assigned explorer similar to the example shown below. In doing so, you must incorporate at least four secondary documents and 1 primary document. Your Name ______________________ Your Explorer _______________________________ Additional Requirements:  At least 1 map showing where your explorer traveled to  4 secondary sources (textbooks, historical websites, etc.)  1 primary source (diary entry, writing from that time period about the explorer, maps from the time period, etc.)  A completed Face Space Reference section citing your work. (Be sure to PRINT the entire project when completed!) You should incorporate as much history as possible, but be creative, have fun, and make sure all materials are school appropriate. Remember to be resourceful- that is, look for all kinds of sources to provide your information, including historical sites, artifacts, paintings, letters, etc.
