3.  Welcome to Hastings Middle School  Just like in Elementary School – there are rules and expectations to follow  These are put into place in order to create a safe, positive, and encouraging learning environment  We take the following slides very seriously, and our expectation is that you will too. 6.  Attendance will be carefully tracked. If your attendance is a concern, you will be on a list of kids being carefully monitored.  Our goal is to eliminate any barriers and get you to school every day on time.  Tardiness for first period will be tracked through the office. Attendance
