3. Introduction Our group had to find people that use multiplication each day at work. We had to find out how they used multiplication and give examples.

5. Basketball Players Multiply Basketball Players multiply to figure out how many points they scored. I made 6 shots and each shot is 2 points. 6x2=12

6. Business Owners Multiply Music store owners multiply. He has 4 guitars that need to be repaired. Each guitar needs 5 strings. 4x5=20 Hotel owners multiply. He needs to buy new pillow cases for 10 rooms. In each room there are 4 pillows. 10x4=40

7. Lunchroom Ladies Multiply The Lunchroom Ladies multiply when they plan our meals. There are 15 students in each class. Each child gets two pieces of chicken. 15x2=30

8. What we have learned! Multiplication is used by a lot of different people. Multiplication helps you get answers to word problems faster and easier. Learning my multiplication facts is important. My teacher is always right.
