5 EARLY GUITARS  The first guitar was invented by the Romans in 40AD and then further adapted by the Moors after there conquest to Iberian peninsula in 8 th century. Then in the 1840’s the classical guitar was made by the Vinaccia family who was commonly known for there lutes and mandolins.

6 ELECTRIC GUITAR  The magnetic pick up was made by Lloyd Loar. Then they developed from that so they made the first electric guitars by the electric string company. And then in the 1940s Harland Bernard bodkin successfully made the first electric with a hard solid body.

8 INTERESTING FACTS  Guitar strings used to be made from animal guts  Electric guitars are made from wood  The Amps got more powerful in the last decades and can change sounds effects of the guitar.

9 TECHNOLOGICAL ADVANCES  Computers is a real contribution to the Music industry. It allowed producers and managers to record their clients song add any other cool effects and edit it afterwards which was a real success. Which lead them to make millions because people are buying their albums and singles.

10 TECHNOLOGICAL ADVANCES  The developing technology of the computer and electric guitar is advancing. The electric guitar is a definition of rock and is increasing in everyday music. The electric guitar is in most music everyday but the use the amps and computers to change the effect of that sound.

12 WHAT’S IN THE NECK OF THE GUITAR?  There is a steel bar in the neck of the guitar to support it and keep it strong and solid.  The steel bar helps the guitar to stay in tune and don't pull out of tune.  There is a bit of steel bar that comes out the end so you can adjust it for the sound and the length of the guitar.

13 THE GUITAR BODY  The body has not really changed since first made but you can change the shape if you want to.  It is thicker and more solid now than it was in 1950.

14 AMPS  Fender started making amps in 1945.  1960s- More volume/more power and more distortion  It became more powerful and louder throughout 70s-90s

15 JIMI HENDRIX  Jimi was a left handed guitar player.  He died in 1970 (drug overdose)  He is the number one the number one guitarist of all time  His most famous song was Purple Haze

16 SLASH  He played for Guns n Roses  He got his first one string guitar from his Grandmother.  He has got an album named after him. (SLASH)
