It names a person, place, animal, or thing
It tells who or what the sentence is about

4. Example The girl sees a bird. What is the naming part? Correct
The girl is the naming part.

5. Example Renee likes Mary Poppins.
What is the naming part of the sentence?
Correct
Renee is the naming part.

6. Practice The mouse took the cheese. The flowers smell good.
