4 Voice Shows writers thoughts and feelings Unique Personality Convincing, not fake Fun to read Lively or exciting

5 Word Choice Words paint a picture Words arent overused or repeated Natural language Strong action verbs Specific nouns Descriptive adjectives Similes and metaphors No vague, boring, overused words, slang, or cliches

6 Sentence Fluency Complete sentences Only intentional fragments Sentence length varies Sentence structure varies Sentence beginnings vary Smooth and easy to read
