3 THE IMPACT OF CELL PHONES ON EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS INSTITUTIONS

4  The impact of cell phones on educational institutions is name of our project.It’s going to start on 1 st July 2011 and end in March 2012. Firstly, discussion will take place among the students and the facilitators. Then the students will be asked to do a survey in different parts of schools as to calculate how many classrooms as well as students are disturbed due to the misuse of mobile. In the next session, the children will make and distribute a brochure as to get aware the people hazards of mobile during studies. Children will also make some drawings and posters for the same purpose. Again a survey will be conducted to get the feedback. In the end, a seminar will be arranged and then they will arrange their own wiki. Unit summary

5  The project is related to the subject of islamiat, social studies and general science. SUBJECT AREA

8 STANDARDS  While we work on projects, class time will be organized very differently than usual, but it will still be very structured. The projects will be designed so that students will have to understand important concepts and be able to perform specific skills related to hazards of using mobiles during studies.  CONTD

9 STANDARDS  When students work on projects, they spend less time listening to lectures and doing assigned reading. Instead they do research on a variety of topics, gathering the information they need to solve a real-life chemical problem.  Since students will be working independently and in small groups, I will assess their learning as they are working to make sure they are achieving all the objectives by  CONTD

10 STANDARDS  observing them as they work and taking notes, asking questions and reviewing their learning logs. Students will also frequently assess their own learning and give feedback.

11 OBJECTIVES After the completion of this project, students shall be to realize the fact that The mobiles should not be used in school premises

15  DISCUSSION  Let them engage in brain storming about survey questions and make survey questionnaire. Evaluate them by discussion checklist.surveydiscussion

16  GROUPING  Divide them in groups and allocate the classes and section and give survey questionnaire to them.

17  Ask them to conduct survey to calculate the no. of students who use mobiles in classrooms. Evaluate them by Research interview checklist. survey Research day 2 (3 hours ) survey

18  COMPILATION OF DATA  Engage them in the compilation of data. Ask them to count occurrence of ‘Y’ in every column and write it in the box given below. Ask them to sign the permission letter for visit. Evaluate them by Collaboration checklist. Collaboration

Invite an educationalist to support your views and demonstration.
