12 ADVANTEGES (+)DISADVANTEGES (-) Nowadays we cannot be well-informed without TV. There are a lot of news programmes, and many people learn the news from TV. There are many educational programmes and TV gives us many opportunities for education. We can see different places and learn about different people and events. If you are alone at home and feel bored or lonely, you can switch on the TV set and you'll feel better. TV shows a lot of films: old and new. We waste a lot of time watching rubbish - third-rate films, stupid talk show and silly adverts. When teens at home they cannot stop watching it. It takes all of their time, and they have no time for the lessons. Young people stop doing sports because of TV. There is too much violence (насилия) on TV, which has a bad influence on teenagers. There is a lot of advertising on TV.
