2 The Women in Henry VIII's Life
On september king Henry VIII and his wife, Anne Boleyn, welcomed a daugter into the world. Twenty-five years later, that daughter was crowned Queen Elizabeth I of england. Elizabeth was a strong and admired queen. Her mother wasnt so lucky. Not long after Elizabeths birth, King Henry grew tired of Anne Boleyn and accused her of cheating on him. Henry had her beheaded. Elevan days later, Henry married agan.

5 Island of Copper In anciant times, the island of Cyprus was know for it's copper mines. As a matter of fact, the island gets it name from the Greek word for copper. Today, people on this small island in the mediterranean sea still make small amounts of copper, but the island is more famous for its wines. A war in 1974 divide Cyprus in to two parts. The southern part is home to about 650,000 Greeks the northern part is home to about 90,000 Turkish people.

In 1850, Levi Strauss were one of many U.S. immigrants whom headed west. Many traveled in search of gold. Strauss had other plan's. He hope to open a store he carried with him a large supply of blew canvas called denim. He thot gold hunters would need the sturdy material to make tents. Instead, he found they needed sturdy work close so he used the denim to stitch together the first pair of "Levi's jeans."
