3 Current Problems Faced by Students Difficulties faced by students in viewing notes in a large-sized lecture room Inefficient note-taking practices which prevents students from engaging themselves in lecture Confusions generated when students have creative questions on lecturer’s notes

4 Solving the Problems - SLNotes Provide real-time lecture notes for students Help students in viewing and managing their notes Allow students to annotate the professors’ lecture notes instantly Allow students to convey idea to the professor more easily

5 Representative Tasks for SLNotes Tasks are chosen in order to meet with the major difficulties encountered by students in current lecture setting: 1) Receiving and annotating on real-time lecture notes 2) Moving between lecture notes 3) Sending questions with annotations to the professor
