7 Gorbals Library and Real Learning Centre As of April 2007 5,380 people had attended classes 84% had little or no computer experience 43% were unemployed 35% aged between 16-39 46% aged between 40-64

13 UK online centres – library partnerships Cambridgeshire Library Learning Services – EngAGE project –Aims to reach some of the most isolated older people in rural communities and get them to forge their own social links through ICT. Leeds Library and Information Service –e-learning bus Suffolk Libraries –Targeted at teenage parents and older people, using intermediaries Lincolnshire Rural Activities Centre –Aim is to get disadvantaged, rurally isolated and disabled groups involved in community and conservation projects
