4 Geography One of the major landforms in Germany is the Bavarian Alps. When you travel through Germany, you will find many forested mountains in the southern regions. There are wet winters and summers. The North Sea and the Baltic Sea are very well-known seas. The main rivers are the Rhine, the Elbe and the Danube

5 Some facts… About 38% of the population is Protestant, mostly in the north, and 34% is Roman Catholic, mainly in the South and West. Germany's contributions to the world's cultural heritage are numerous. So important people as Beethoven, Einstein, Kant and Kepler were German. It also has famous sportsmen and women as Boris Becker, Steffi Graf, Schumacher… The official language of Germany is German.

Germany is the world’s third-largest exporter after China and the United States German-produced goods from the chemical, automotive, and machinery & equipment industries are in particularly high demand worldwide The Germans also depend on Lake Constance, located in the Alps. This lake is a huge tourist attraction, which makes a lot of money for the German economy. They also have important car factories
