NETWARCOM Focus 8 Operate the Navy component of the Global Information Grid (GIG) as a weapons system Result: Determine and meet negotiated service level agreements with maritime headquarters and other supported commands (both afloat and ashore). Restriction(s): Do not violate IA and interoperability standards Extend Use of Information Operations (IO) Capabilities Result: Increase the breadth and depth of Commanders’ use of IO as reflected in incorporation of IO in deliberate and crisis action planning, exercises, and current operations as measured by maturity model. Restriction(s): Ensure acceptable levels of support to National missions are maintained. Assure Naval equities in space Result: Increase Naval commanders’ warfighting capabilities through the use of cumulative space effects in maritime operations as measured by maturity model. Restriction(s): Ensure no unnecessary redundancy of effort between other DoD Space communities and NETWARCOM’s role as the Naval operational agent for Space.

9 Develop the workforce to achieve information superiority Result: Sustain, attract and develop a qualified/certified, diverse workforce to meet mission requirements as measured by ratings from recipient organizations, achieving ratings of “meet requirements” or “exceed requirements” for personnel within information domain. Restriction(s): Cannot receive rating of “fails to meet requirements” from any customer. Ensure billets are coded/characterized correctly to meet actual requirements. Implement FORCEnet Result: Deliver and attain Navy and Joint acceptance of the FORCEnet Implementation and Governance Plan that integrates concepts, capabilities, architecture, and assessments Restriction(s): Compliant with JCIDS (DOTMLPF) process. Informed by Naval, Joint, and Coalition reqmts. Shape development and operation of Maritime Operations Center Result: Drive development of and achieve acceptance from Navy and Joint stakeholders on CONOPS, organization, processes, technology and systems for the maritime operations centers. Restriction(s): Maintain synchronization with Joint C2 initiatives, directives and policies. Ensure CONOPS includes NETWARCOM’s roles as a supported.supporting commander. NETWARCOM Focus con’t
