4. 4 LRS PROJECT TIMELINE -- REVISED Sample Design Completed on 2/9/2004, the following are the planned changes to the timeline –Sample selection acceptance and sample issue resolution by 2/29/2004 –TDSPs sending installation date/time (immediately after sample selection acceptance via email), by FTP Replacement starting in May 2004 –CR FTP Replacement Handshake testing April 2004 –TDSPs Sending in IDR files May 2004 –Market Trials with TDSP and CRs Full IDR sample testing lifecycle (June 2004) –Go Live Day 1 activities is planned for 6 months post sample selection acceptance -- 9/1/2004

Client relations following up with outstanding CRs 16 out of 49 confirmed participation with LRS program –Data analysis and data verification process agreed to by market participants –Data error response times agreed with TDSPs –LRS IDR data retention duration at TDSPs agreed upon (60 days of persistent data for.LS files) –No compression for TDSPs due to firewall issues. CRs investigating compression requirement –No encryption of data due to secure transport from FTP Replacement technology ERCOT Updates –ERCOT IT solution in progress

7. 7 LRS PROJECT MARKET ISSUES LRS Project Market Issues –Data issues with sample design need to be resolved quickly in order to complete sample selection. Data issues include: outlier usage values, mismatched ESIIDs, suspicious weather zone and profile assignments. ERCOT working with TDSPs to resolve. –TDSPs would like to have an extra month slack at the end of the project for outlier meter installations due to summer work schedules and contingencies (summer storms, other meter projects). ERCOT working with TDSPs to resolve.
