Did you attend the Summer Workshop? Do you have scheduled coaches meetings? How do you disseminate info to your club? Do you have a Code of Conduct for: Players/Coaches/Parents

Do you / your parents evaluate your coaches at the end of the season? Are your High School Coaches involved with your Club? Do you talk to your neighbors and exchange ideas? Are you leveraging training with local resources like your HS coaches/3D/Bear Lax/etc.

PARTING THOUGHTS PEARLS OF WISDOM

It is all about the players We don’t always know what we think we know It is ok to disagree and try something new If you have a question – ask It’s ok to be competitive but we shouldn’t be competitive operationally

If you have a problem – get it out on the table Just because someone was a good player, doesn’t make he or she a good coach No good deed goes unpunished Rinse and repeat (educate)

Things the NCJLA is Working On Establishing Conferences Scheduling & training new schedulers SIR & Concussion management Game Rules Feedback on Officials Staff Assistance with player registration, coaches certification We are not perfect but trying to get better

Thanks & Questions
