8 The Vilnius Old Town is one of the biggest in Eastern and Middle Europe. In 1994 the Old Town of Vilnius was included in the Unesco World heritage list. Vilnius was established in 1323

9 Vilnius has the oldest university in Lithuania and Eastern Europe - it is Vilnius university which was established in 1579 The university has 12 faculties and 8 institutes like ecology institute, or politics and international relations institute.
