4 Creating a new slide continued Or use the Keyboard short-cut: Control + M (press them at the same time) Or: 1) Right click a slide in the preview (to the left of the screen)

8 Slide show menu Start slide show from beginning Start slide show from what ever slide you’re currently looking at

10 Saving your work The FIRST TIME Click “file”

11 Saving your file the first time cont… 1) Click “Save As” 2) Select “Computer” 3) Select “Browse” 4)Scroll down to your username (H:) and select it 5) Name the file 6)Hit “Save”

12 Naming your file Your file should ALWAYS be formatted like this: LastnameFirstnameAssignmentPeriod#.pptx Ex. SnowJohnInsanityDefense7.docx

14 Other top bar stuff UndoRedo (undo undo) Start PowerPoint from beginning

15 Keyboard Shortcuts: Control + m = add new slide Control + n = New powerpoint Control + s = Save (or save as if it’s not saved) ( any word shortcuts apply here too)
