How It Works: Collecting the Data With TrainingEvals.com SM services you are the administrator of your evaluation process We will establish your company, user permissions, and passwords for you so you can immediately use all of the basic evaluation, email, and report templates as well as your own administrative pages. Beginning the Process The Company Detail Display Screen (above) will display your company name, your TrainingEvals.com SM services distributor’s name, and your training manager’s name. Web-pages are designed to structure and organize your data for easy access.

How It Works: Collecting the Data The Training Manager simply enters the name of the course, the trainer, location and date of the class, and the names of the attendees and their supervisors. Entering Courses, Classes, and Attendees Once a new class is added to a course via the Course Detail Display screen (right), the class details can be added via the Class Detail Display screen (below). When you are ready, one “click” will send email notices to all attendees requesting they complete an evaluation of the course.

How It Works: Collecting the Data The course, class, and attendee data are automatically identified in the email message. A Tickler Function notifies the Training Manager when to send the next evaluation. Emailing Attendees and Supervisors Example email sent to the student to fill out Evaluation #1 - Initial Impressions.

How It Works: Collecting the Data The attendee or supervisor simply clicks on a link in the email to access the on-line evaluation for each course. Accessing the Evaluation Options are provided in the email to address potential browser or internet connectivity issues.

How It Works: Collecting the Data Each evaluation template is divided into key training areas to facilitate the analysis of the data. Responders simply scroll through the evaluation clicking radio buttons to enter their responses. Completing the Evaluation Example of Evaluation #1 - Initial Impressions Evaluations #2 and #3 use the same layout and radio button format. Each key training area has a comment box so that comments can be identified in the reports according to the training area they represent.

How It Works: Collecting the Data Using Multiple Levels of Evaluation TrainingEvals.com SM services provides three types of evaluations. Evaluation #3 Captures supervisor's perception of impact on employee performance Evaluation #2 Captures attendees’ perceived learning Evaluation #1 Captures attendees’ initial responses [When evaluating a training program,] “I consider measuring participants’ reaction to the program, the amount of learning that took place, the extent of their change in behavior after they returned to their jobs, and any final results that were achieved by participants after they returned to work.” Donald Kirkpatrick “Revisiting Kirkpatrick’s Four-Level Model” T&D Magazine, January 1996

How It Works: Collecting the Data All data is entered on-line, directly into a secure database, and is immediately available for review by the Training Manager. This database is hosted and maintained for you by TrainingEvals.com SM services. Immediate, Secure Data Storage

The Training Management Reports screen (above) from which all reports are generated is available 24x7 via the web. Training Managers need their password to access this screen. How It Works: Accessing the Data Using the Report Templates There are 7 report templates ready to guide your query of this data and present the data in an easy to read format: 1.Initial Evaluation Results 2.Follow-up Evaluation Results 3.Supervisor Evaluation Results 4.Trainer Comparison 5. Attendee List 6.Class List 7.Course List You select the type of report and the data, including which courses, trainers, locations, and time period, that you would like to review.

Example of Evaluation Result Report #3 - Supervisor Feedback. How It Works: Accessing the Data Evaluation Results Reports Evaluation results reports are structured to present the percent of responses to each question. These reports also contain space to record plans for improving the results. This section can be used when printed reports are reviewed during meetings. Any question receiving less than 80% positive responses automatically highlights. This functions helps you quickly identify areas of concern. Using the Report Templates (cont.)

Example of a Comparison Report on initial impressions of three different trainers. How It Works: Accessing the Data Comparison Reports The comparison report template allows you to compare the results for each trainer or training vendor providing training for your company. This report provides data to support performance reviews with training staff and training vendors. Color coding enhances accessibility of data. Using the Report Templates (cont.)

Example of an individual training record How It Works: Accessing the Data Administrative Reports individual training records attendance at a specific course total number of attendees for all classes Administrative report templates can be used to measure and document a variety of training metrics including: Example of attendance per class record Example of an attendee list for a particular class Using the Report Templates (cont.)
