13 Some calculations For a length of 9m a width of 1.5 meters the combined weight of 2 pontoons is only approx. 500kg.( water displacement=27cubic metres The capacity is of a minimum 20 tonnes The platform weight (bridge structures) Aluminium with steel grade strength will make the platform lighter and stronger: under 100kg

15 Costs Manufacturing : syntactic foam: approx. 16 €/kg Tooling (manufacturing hire facilities + syntactic foam ) = approx 10,000€ Aluminium extrusion ramps + platform (manufacturing hire facilities + aluminium)= 5,000€ Design work: 200 hours @ 6,000€ Patents: 3,000€ Engines: 2x 14,000€ = 28,000€ Other costs (transport, advertising): €2,000 TOTAL per item = approx. 54,000€

16 Other potential usages Dredging: cutting reeds Ferry service: for transporting vehicles (cars, motorbikes,…) Hiring / Loan service Scuba diving platform Bridge repairing
