8 Satisfaction survey 2008-2009 Patients comments and Suggestions Can you suggest any improvements that would improve the service? -Can't suggest any improvement to this service as it is already excellent. -The service I received was excellent. -I was happy with the overall service and can't think of any way of improving it. -Staff were pleasant and explained everything. -The nursing staff couldn’t have been better. Really good, knew their jobs and carried them out well. -Every aspect of my appointment and treatment was excellent and very importantly at my age of 83 it was just 5 miles from my home -More comfortable chairs especially for older people. Would you be happy to attend the Ophthalmology ICATS Clinic for future routine eye appointments? Yesn=94(100%)

9 Conclusion As the aging population continues to grow –age related eye diseases will increase. More demands on existing services. In Ophthalmology Specialist Nurses will continue to be an effective and efficient way of providing quality care.
