Custom Sale Software – American Mountain Theater Guy Vignoli | Jacob Pruckner | Karlos Carrijo | Shelby Shuff | Steven De Souza INTRODUCTIONDESIGN PROPOSAL CONCLUSION The Mountain Theater company has been using an outdated system to track its customer and sales data. Using a simple email form on the company's website, they currently hand enter all of this information into a Microsoft Access file. The goal of this project is to streamline the vacation booking experience for The Mountain Theater Company and the Isaac Jackson Hotel. Figure 1 – The Isacc Jackson Hotel - Elkins, WV Figure 2 – American Mountain Theater - Elkins, WV The objectives of this project are consistency, speed, general ease of access, and reduced workload for the employee. We will thoroughly examine the current system, inside and out, in order to improve upon anything that is needed, and avoid recreating something that doesn’t need any improvement. Our design for the project consists of two main phases for the infrastructure side and several activities on the new frontend/backend software. The new cloud based platform will incorporate all existing features, adding several additional automated processes and booking functionalities. The customers need an easier way to give information to the businesses. Our goal is to attend these needs by creating a system that is not only automated and easy to use, but also sustainable for the future.
