3 What was heard….. One platform – AIR (American Institutes for Research) Shorten the test Each assessment is 180 minutes District choice 1 session (180 minutes) OR 2 sessions (90 minutes each) Administer later in the school year – one testing window 10 days Paper/Pencil 15 days Online

4 New! Released 7/31/2015 Consecutive Days 10 days Paper/Pencil 15 days Online

5 Classes of 2018 and beyond (Current freshmen and sophomores) English language arts I and II, algebra I, geometry (or integrated mathematics I and II), biology or physical science (class of 2018 only), American history, American government. Classes of 2015-2017 – Ohio Graduation Tests and end-of- course tests in American history and American government. High School End of Course Which tests will be given for what grade level? Grade levels haven’t changed!

6 Other questions specific to math... Will the assessments be set up for calculator and/or non calculator sections? Will there be allowable reference sheets? Will there be assessments reflective of both the traditional and integrated pathway? WE DO KNOW that the items selected from the item bank will be COMMON to both pathways…..for 2015-16 Test blueprints will be available in September 2015. Sample test items will be available in October 2015.
