3 EADS Defence and Security Systems Ltd Page 3 ESEE Installations : All installations continue to schedule IDP’s for Devon and Buckinghamshire were completed 1 st Feb. Oxfordshire (24 stations) – Installation has commenced and is due to be completed in April D&S (84 stations) – Installation has commenced, discussions are ongoing with CLG as to the transition into full SEE builds. As built’s have been issued for all of Cheshire and Cornwall. As built’s for Devon and Oxfordshire have started to be delivered.

4 EADS Defence and Security Systems Ltd Page 4 SEE: SEE IDP production has begun with the first deliveries being made to Dorset –Hamworthy, Derby - Ascot Drive, T&W – Gateshead, Hants – SHQ, Cambs – Huntingdon, Essex – Colchester, London - Kentish Town on the 1 st Feb Durham - Barnard Castle, West Mids – Coventry, Gtr Manchester – Agecroft delivered on the 2 nd Feb. Subsequent deliveries will follow the order in which surveys were undertaken. Activation for Gloucestershire, Leicestershire, Cleveland and West Sussex is expected shortly The final SEE design has been issued to CLG, this and the latest Transition information was presented to CLG at the functional rollout board held 26 th Jan, EADS is planning to finalise the SEE transition plan this month.

5 EADS Defence and Security Systems Ltd Page 5 DCMT2 Installation : DCMT2 (non-networked solution) has completed EADS testing Change Notes: –“Networked” DCMT (CCN0096) – EADS have received CLG comments and are due to up-issue the IA this week. –Early Adopters (CCN0107) – CLG have previously advised the preference is to have networked Early Adopters. CLG have approached EADS to consider non-networked Early Adopters. EADS await up issued CCN to detail this request –CLG have advised that rollout will be with a networked solution. Rollout with therefore commence 5 months after CCN 96 has been approved.

6 EADS Defence and Security Systems Ltd Page 6 RCC Infrastructure: Discussions between CLG and EADS are well advanced. Initial planning has indicated that in order to accommodate training the build of the first three RCC’s, SW, NE and EM will need to be completed by Sept 2010 This will mean that work on site will need to start in May 2010 Another two RCC’s, WM and another, will be need to be completed by Dec 2010 CLG/EADS are also looking to utilise the RCC’s as part of the system test strategy

7 EADS Defence and Security Systems Ltd Page 7 MDT1A: –Delivery of the remaining CMS laptops will be completed by 5th March. –An additional two laptops were delivered to FRSs 26th Jan, the next batch of 3 laptops is due to be released on 8th Feb. –CMS / AIUS server catalogue option planned to be deliver mid March –A response to CCN103 (Crash Recovery System) has been completed and was issued to CLG 26th Jan. –Backup and Restore process to be issued to CLG 11th February MDT2 –MDT2 joint planning and transition strategy being discussed with CLG –Strategy is also being discussed with supplier (IMASS)

8 EADS Defence and Security Systems Ltd Page 8 SEW’s SEW progressing to schedule (excluding changes due to overruns but these are being accommodated within February) Material being submitted in advance Feedback from attendees on the whole is more positive

9 EADS Defence and Security Systems Ltd Page 9 Main System 1 Intergraph now fully signed up as the CAD system supplier replacing Ericsson on FiReControl (although work was already commissioned to start last October 2009) The standard COTS version of the software has been delivered which provides a compliance level of 60-70% The COTS product is being integrated with the main system for early visibility Further product releases by Intergraph planned for July & Sept 2010 will deliver the remaining compliance

Activity 3 months out. –SEE Rollout: Activity 6 months out. –Further product releases by Intergraph planned for July & Sept 2010 will deliver the remaining compliance –The profile of the integration and test approach has been defined and agreed. It comprises:– ·4 integration cycles where components are iteratively -Accepted from suppliers -Assembled into subsystems and tested -Integrated into main system -The interactive approach attempts to de-risk the integration process
