Vision: -Having fun dancing. -Feeling save and at ease. -Finding the possibilities of movement within the own body. -Wanting to create and and perform. -Learning a dancetechnique. -Classical ballet for toddlers, children, teenagers and adults. -Modern/contemporary dance for children, teenagers and adults. -Urban dance/ Hip hop for children and teenagers. -Pilates for teenagers and adults. -Workshops -Performances

3 + Statistics on Ridderkerk Town: Ridderkerk, 45.250 inhabitants. Nearest big city: Rotterdam, 618.355 inhabitants. Province: South Holland Country: the Netherlands 0 to 15 year:15% 15-25 year:11% 25-45 year:22% 45-65 year: 23% 20.370 households; 33% includes children.

4 + Two types of students: -People with basic knowledge about dancing. Could become a professional dancer. Be frustrated and lose fun in dancing and quit dancing. -People with no knowledge of dance what so ever. They do not like it and leave. They like it, learn more and stay or move on to become a professional dancer.

5 + Dancing in past, present and future. Past: -More feel of community and togetherness. -More clubs and societies for practicing hobbies. -Practicing art and sports were important in the upbringing and education of children. And stimulated by parents and family. -People had more time to take an interest in wellbeing of others and activities. -Practicing your hobby and having patience to do so was normal.

6 + Present: -More indivualism and only care for the own inner circle. -No time and/or money for hobbies. -Dutch culture and arts not being important anymore in upbringing of children. -No interest in sociable dancing. -They apply for danceclass for 15 minutes of fame due to many talent shows on television. -Frustrated and negative mindset.

9 + Future -Being aware of negativity and not getting sucked in. -Stay creative and positive. -Sense of community and togetherness returns. -Rediscovery of being proud of accomplishing something together.
