4 2) Global survey  Survey: 85 statements on software business productivity Covering the 6 categories of business productivity Statements with the standard 7 point Likert scale. 7  “strongly agreed” 4  “neither agreed nor disagreed” “didn’t know” or “was not applicable to their situation.”  Respondents: Users of Microsoft Dynamics NAV, Microsoft Dynamics GP, SAP All-in-One, and SAP R/3 at approximately 100 companies (randomly selected) Sales & Marketing, Finance, and Operations departments  double-blind: The sponsor of the survey was not revealed to respondents The individuals administering the survey did not know who the sponsor was.

5 Result: Global  Microsoft scored higher than SAP in 80 of the 85 total questions.  Higher business productivity impact

6 Result: Usability A study finds that only 15% of employees are licensed to use their company’s ERP system and furthermore that 46% of licensed ERP seats go unused. Usability  Ease of use  User ‘command’ of application  User enjoyment with software

13 Conclusion EEase of use and business performance and to highlight the impact applications can have on end user productivity SSelection criteria for use as a basis for evaluating ERP systems 66 major dimensions: Usability, Familiarity, Transactional Efficiency, Flexibility, Business Insight, and Collaboration. RRespondents scored Microsoft applications higher than they did SAP applications.
