8 UN Framework for Development of Environment Statistics (FDES 2013)  Jamaica was represented in the group revising the Framework for the Development of Environment Statistics. Revision now complete.  Jamaica now a member of the Expert Group on Environment Statistics – developing the methodological manual for the FDES Core Set of Environment Statistics.  With the completion of the revised FDES there will be a need for a Regional Workshop on the implementation of the FDES which would assist countries in the region in the collection and compilation of environment statistics at the national level.
