2. “Ring. ” The recess bell rang
“Ring.” The recess bell rang. All the children ran back inside after eating their lunch.

3. June was sitting inside of the classroom with her friends
June was sitting inside of the classroom with her friends. She was feeling a bit gassy because of the soda she drank at lunch.

4. June was getting up to get some crayons when she burped really loudly!

5. The class started to laugh at her.

6. June’s cheeks felt hot and turned bright red
June’s cheeks felt hot and turned bright red. She was SO embarrassed so she started to cry.

7. “hey kids. Stop laughing. Everyone burps. ” Mr. Conrad yelled
“hey kids! Stop laughing! Everyone burps!” Mr. Conrad yelled. “why do we burp?” billy asked.

8. “we burp because while we eat, we swallow gases and those gases are finding a way out of our mouth.” Mr. conrad explained.

9. “but when you burp, it’s always polite to cover your mouth and say excuse me.” Mr. Conrad said.

10. “Excuse me!” June giggled, along with her classmates.
