1 Sport Otago Schools in action Offer physical activity and sport support in all of otago schools. Vision: ‘to get otago people active’ Goals: 1.Increasing the number of people living physically active lifestyles 2. Improving the quality of sport and recreation delivery systems at all levels 3. Providing direction to sport and recreation strategies as well as decision making.

8 Physical activity leadership: PAL “ Leadership is not just one quality but rather a blend of qualities” (Lombardi,.2001) to identify the qualities of a good leader to gain games and activity ideas to explore ideas for inclusion Interpersonal skills- “demonstrate a range of interpersonal skills and processes that help them to make safe choices for themselves and other people in a variety of settings” (ministry of education,.2007)
