1 HOW TO POST JOBS USING EASYPOST We are Honored to Work With The Best 2012-2013

3 Once on the EasyPost page you can: –Post Jobs with a Control Number –Post Jobs without a Control Number –Manage your postings Steps to Posting Jobs Online

4 Posting a Position With USAJOBS Control Number

5 Click on the top right button that says “Enter EasyPost With Control #” Enter the USAJOBS control # into the box and click “Start Search”

6 The next page provides an overview of the position information for that control # Verify if the position you are posting is a Physician position Use the radial dial buttons to select ‘Yes’ or ‘No’ and then select ‘Continue’ or select ‘Search Again’ to enter a different control #

7 Next you’ll see the job board selection page. Select the job board(s) you want to post to. You may take advantage of existing job board contracts that the National HRRO Office has purchased as well as free job boards. You can select as many sites at one time as you like. To select a job board, click the box to the left of the job board name. Once you have made your job board selections, click “Continue.”

8 You will see a section called “Auto Posted Sites.” These are job boards VHA has unlimited posting contracts with and are automatically selected each time your post a job.

9 Select HealtheCareers Network –Premium Posting” for physician and nurse practitioner positions only. Select HealtheCareers Network – Nursing/Allied” for all other healthcare positions.

10 The next page will allow you to review and make selections for the details of the position. Most of the fields are already pre-populated based on the info from USAJOBS. Clicking on the arrows to the left of a section will expand or collapse the section for viewing and editing. You will need to select the category and occupation fields. You will need to enter a zip code.

11 Depending on the sites selected, the information required under Job Board information will vary because each job board has their own requirements. Once all required fields are complete, click “Continue.” Note: some sites have a healthcare category and others have a medical category. If you can’t find a healthcare category, try looking under medical and vice versa. For hbcuconnect.com’s benefits, enter competitive.”

12 On the job description and requirements page, make sure to select the header and footer. The job description will be pre-populated from the USAJOBS control number, but you may make any necessary edits. Copy and paste the position requirements from the USAJOBS page into the requirements field. Click “Continue” to go to the next page.

14 On the review page, make sure to carefully review all of the information regarding the position’s details for accuracy. If anything needs to be changed, you may go back to that specific page by clicking “Edit” under the category on the left-hand side of the page. If all of the information is correct, click “Continue.”

15 Review your job board selections. To remove a job board before posting the position, go to the left-hand side of the page, check the box next to the job board name and click “Update.” To add a job board, click “Add Boards.” If your selections are complete, click “Process Job.”

16 At this step, your job posting will be automatically submitted to the selected job boards and your posting is complete. Please Note: the standard turnaround time for a posting to be posted live on the job board is only a couple of hours, but in some cases it may take up to 48 hours.

17 Posting a Position Without USAJOBS Control Number

18 To post a position without a USAJOBS control number, click the button “Enter EasyPost Without Control #.” On the next page, select which free job boards you would like to post your position to and click “Continue.”

19 Fill in all required fields for the position details. Once all required fields are complete, click “Continue.”

20 Select the appropriate header for the position, copy and paste or enter the job description and position requirements, and select the appropriate footer. Click “Continue” to go to the next page.

21 On the review page, make sure to carefully review all of the information regarding the position’s details for accuracy. If anything needs to be updated, you may go back to that page by clicking “Edit” under the category on the left-hand side of the page. If all of the information is correct, click “Continue.”

22 Review your job board selections. To remove a job board before posting the position, go to the left-hand side of the page, check the box next to the job board name and click “Update.” To add a job board, click “Add Boards.” If your selections are complete, click “Process Job.”

24 Manage Postings

25 Under Manage Postings you can: –View your live postings –Repost an expired position –Delete a filled position –Edit a current posting –View site click information and performance Click the ‘Manage Postings’ button on EasyPost page

26 You can search by any of the search fields or any combination of these fields (Job Title, City, Dates, and Job Boards). If you leave the search criteria blank, all of your postings for the past 60 days will come up. You can view searches by Position or by Job Board. The default is View by Position.

27 In By Position view, you will see a list of all of your postings that met the search criteria. The job boards posted to with post and expiration dates appear under each job title. If the posting has not expired or was not deleted, you can use the “find my job on…” link to pull up the live posting on the job board.

28 With the Manage Postings tool, you may: –Repost –Modify –Add Job Boards –Delete –View Site Clicks (Stats) –View the Apply URL information (if applicable)

29 REPOST will automatically select the same job boards the position was previously posted to and pre-populate most of the previously selected fields. MODIFY allows you to make edits to your live posting. This is only if the job board(s) accept modifications and some job boards do not. These job boards will have a note next to them in red that says “Job Board X does not allow modifications.” DELETE brings up a list of the job boards you posted this position to and allows you to select which ones you would like the position deleted from. This is only if the job board(s) accept deletions and some job boards do not. These job boards will have a note next to them in red that says “Job Board X does not allow deletions.” STATS will show how many clicks each job board received as a pie chart and also show a percentage of the total clicks for each job board. APPLY shows the application information, if an apply URL was entered in the posting details.
