5 KEEP – STATE OF PLAY KEEP database includes information on INTERREG III 62 cross-border, 13 transnational, 4 interregional = 79 programmes 11.011 projects 33.321 partners European Territorial Cooperation 52 cross-border, 13 transnational, 4 interregional = 65 programmes 2.389 projects 11.358 partners 5

6 KEEP – STATE OF PLAY KEEP maps Google maps Advert free INTERACT can offer the fastest service possible to end-users Information stored on maps includes Programme boundaries, NUTS areas, historical information Support from DG Regio GIS Department (coordinates for borders,...) 6

7 KEEP – STATE OF PLAY KEEP prototype KEEP Pilot Action Proposal for 2010-2011 Finalisation of fully operational online prototype Will be presented today for the first time Contains data on 13 transnational + 4 interregional programmes ( approx. 2000 projects) Realised by INTERACT Secretariat with support from IP Viborg Highlighted existing gaps / clarified further action needed 7

8 KEEP – STATE OF PLAY From KEEP phase 1 to KEEP phase 2 Phase 1 - finalisation Access to the system to external users (password) Programme / focus group (transnational / interregional) Integration of data in the DB (qualitative / quantitative) Phase 2 – launch public procurement (Bratislava Self-Governing Region) Programme / focus group + data integration (cross-border) ToR now under preparation, start by 09.2010, fully operational system available by early 2011 MA/JTS bodies Web search Support from INTERACT Points 8

9 KEEP – STATE OF PLAY KEEP website – Territorial Cooperation Portal KEEP website will comprise Maps & statistics linking to the KEEP database Editorial contents / news items Comprehensive portal of territorial cooperation To be established in cooperation among INTERACT, ESPON, INTERREG IV and URBACT Foreseen in Plan of Common Activities for 2010 9
