You are having a party. You can make a party invitation.
What happens first when you want to make an invitation? Make a sentence with the word ‘make’ in it. Pages 2 & 3

Discuss the picture. Why has the author used numbers for this list? How does it help the reader? Pages 6 &7

Draw a party picture on the front of the card. Draw you.
Draw your friends. Draw party hats. Draw balloons. What were the instructions? What verbs are used? Sounds of ‘front’ and ask students to think of other words with the same blend. Pages 8 & 9
