3. Song Qingling(1893- 1981)married Dr Sun Zhongshan in 1915. She was the vice- president of the People’s Republic for many years. She busied herself with various welfare activities, ranging from heading the Women Federation to a number of committees involving(orphaned) children.

4. Madame Curie(1867-1934) was born in Poland, moved to Paris and studied chemistry and physics there. She married Pierre Curie and together they studied radioactive materials and discovered radium. In 2003, she was honoured with the name of Blessed Teresa.
