STEPS TAKEN  Crisis Management group comprising principal secretaries of Agriculture & Line Department under Chairmanship of Chief Secretary monitors on regular basis.  Weekly Video conferencing by Chief Secretary with all District Magistrate.  Weekly District task force meeting under the Chairmanship of District Magistrate.  Regular monitoring of Canal irrigation, Minor irrigation & Tube well irrigation at top level.  Control room to monitor electricity supply in rural areas.

7. INITIATIVE  Advisory to farmers in daily news papers regularly.  SAU’s & KVK’s scientist with District officials visited affected villages regularly for technical support & advisory.  Distribution of Diesel Subsidy for life saving irrigation.  Distribution of Seed of Contingent Crops  Eight hour regular electricity supply in rural areas for irrigation.  Ensured availability of water up to tail end of the canal for effective irrigation.

8. DIESEL SUBSIDY Rs. 250/ per acre per irrigation for two irrigations for raising paddy seedlings. Rs. 250/ per acre per irrigation for four irrigations of transplanted paddy & Maize. Rs. 250/ per acre per irrigation for one irrigation for Contingent crops.
