5 S.O.P for Contingency  Crisis Management Group comprising principal secretaries of Agriculture & Line Departments under Chairmanship of Chief Secretary monitors on regular basis.  Weekly Video conferencing by Chief Secretary with all District Magistrate.  Weekly District Task Force meeting under the Chairmanship of District Magistrates.  Regular monitoring of Canal irrigation, Minor irrigation & Tube well irrigation at top level.  Control room to monitor electricity supply in rural areas.

6  Advisory to farmers in daily news papers and other media communication medium regularly.  SAU’s & KVK’s scientist with District officials visit affected villages regularly for technical support & advisory.  Distribution of Diesel Subsidy for life saving irrigation.  Distribution of Seed for Contingent Crops  Regular electricity supply in rural areas for irrigation.  Ensured availability of water up to tail end of the canal for effective irrigation. 7  Direct Seeded Rice 46245 acre.  Stress tolerant variety 117409 acre (Swarna sub-1, Sahbhagi & Sampada)  Inter cropping of Arhar+Moong/Urad 5900 acre.  Inter cropping of Maize & Moong/Urad/Arhar 17901 acre.  Hybrid maize 20833 acre. Proposed Schemes 1. Demonstration

8  Area expansion/Seed distribution in non traditional area.  Top up of Rs. 50/- Kg for Hybrid Paddy, Maize & Bajra.  Top up of Rs. 65/- Kg for Arhar.  Top up of Rs. 8/- Kg for Sunflower & Groundnut.  Top up of Rs. 25/- Kg for Madua.  Seeds of maize for area of 156000 acre, Arhar seed for 41650 acre, Madua seed for 10000 acre and Bazra seed for 10000 acre is to be distributed among the farmers. 2. Seed distribution on subsidy

9 DIESEL SUBSIDY Rs. 250/ per acre per irrigation for two irrigations for raising paddy seedlings. Rs. 250/ per acre per irrigation for four irrigations of transplanted paddy & Maize. Rs. 250/ per acre per irrigation for one irrigation for Contingent crops.
