2 Rome Fell Reasons: Social problems: pay heavy taxes Succession of power (when a emperor died no system in place to pick a new leader) Territory too large Spirit of citizenship (people didn’t take pride in calling themselves Roman) Weak Frontiers

12 Peasants During Feudal Times: 2.7 Front: Most peasants worked at raising crops/ livestock Peasants paid taxes to the lords. Back: Peasants worked in the fields, care for families, and homes
