13. Homework Policy  Do all your work !!! Most homework can be used during tests, so it’s to your advantage to do it!  For daily assignments, they’re due by the end of the day or not at all. Daily work creates the effort grade on the report card.  Extensions on major projects are given only if asked for in advance and when requests are submitted with proof of work already done.  If you’re sick you deserve and will receive extra time and extra help.  Don’t copy and paste other peoples’ work….that’s cheating. peoples’ work….that’s cheating.  Wikipedia bad….Encarta good!!!  From the handbook: “If a student is reporting that he/she does not have any homework or assignments a parent should contact the teacher, as this may be an inaccurate perception on the child’s part.”

For a culminating project students will be researching a topic in all three civilizations and doing a PowerPoint presentation.
