2 Heart Disease Leading cause of death in U.S.
Increases the chances of having a heart disease. Heart diseases are 28% of U.S. deaths.

3 More If you get secondhand-smoke for 1-7 hours a week you risk 24% of getting a heart disease. Chewing tobacco or water pipes also effects you too.

5 Smoking effects to infants
The child can be born to early, miscarriage, low birth weight which can cause SIDS (Sudden infant death syndrome ) (SIDS is the leading death for infants). Increases the kids chance of getting asthma.

6 Effects on Mothers Unable to get pregnant.
Nicotine can be found in breast milk. Only 18%-20% moms stops smoking when they get pregnant.

7 Cancer There are many causes and kinds of cancer: lung Oral cavity
stomach bladder kidney and more…

8 Some static Cancer is the 2nd leading cause of death in US
1st disease linked to smoking. More smoking = More chance of getting cancer. Less smoking = Less chance of cancer.

9 Lung Cancer Lung cancer most common cancer.
Women + men get lung cancer b/c of smoking. Men 22 times and women 12 times more of getting lung cancer. “Lower yield of tar” smokes doesn’t decrease chance of lung cancer.

10 ?Smoking doesn’t cause cancer?
70% of cancer = nonsmokers 30% = smokers Greece of least cancer but most smokers. Lung cancer happens because of old age. Smoking decreases chance of breast cancer 50%.
