3 CONFERENCE VENUE Martin Wood Lecture Theatre complex Seats up to 250 people Can overflow with video to Lindeman if necessary For plenary and parallel sessions Area out front for registration All rooms in the complex have been booked Mendlesson – small meeting room Audrey wood – 35-40 seat classroom All corridor space Lindeman Lecture Theatre (in Clarendon next door) 180 people Parallel sessions only Rooms available in other buildings for break-out meetings. Fischer room and Dennis Sciama in the Denys Wilkinson Blg.

4 REGISTRATION WEB PAGE http://www.physics.ox.ac.uk/auw11/index.asp Oxford Held an ATLAS upgrade week in Spring 2011. This web site contains the form of what we need to establish the TWEPP 2012 local web area. Will need a link to the Indico site for the scientific programme.

6 ACCOMODATION Lady Margaret Hall will be primary place of accomodation. 180 ensuite rooms available cost £65/night 30 “Standard Plus” rooms cost £55/night We will encourage early booking Other accomodation at nearby colleges will be available as needed. LMH is conveniently Located Across the University Park from the Martin Wood building where the conference will take place.

10 RECEPTION Monday the 17 th Still working this out; Possibilities still include: Natural history museum Will be OK, but they will be renovating so venue may not be quite as nice Ashmolean Museum Price negotiations Other venues being explored Oxford Town Hall (right in city centre) All Souls College library LMH again (convenient and happy to do it, but should EVERYTHING be there?) One of the downtown hotels

13 POSTER SESSION The one potential sticking point Have gone through entire Martin Wood complex and stepped out poster locations. Poster boards we have are A0 Lanscape. We do not have A0 Portrait available However we will be able to accommodate people who bring a poster in portrait format 70 posters is maximum we can reasonably do. Leaves room for reception 2-3 sponsor stands
