3 What are the current requirements for ACDV B201a? Take a pre-test Independently complete 54 hours of computer lab assignments using Plato Receive group email notifications regarding progress Take post-test Retake assessment test and place into ACDV B62 (or higher) or retake ACDV B201a Ungraded

4 How is the pilot program different? Enroll in ACDV B201a Take pre-test Independently complete 44 hours of computer lab assignments using Plato Complete 6 offline activities and meet with Tutoring Center tutor Attend 6 face-to-face meetings with professor to discuss progress Take post-test and receive passing score Automatic eligibility for ACDV B62 or B61 (No need to retake assessment test.) Ungraded

5 Pre-Test Over a hundred questions Takes a couple hours Don’t rush! Your answers will determine which modules you will complete.

6 Modules 4 hours per week 10 modules per week 3 parts for each module ▫Tutorial ▫Application ▫Mastery Test(s) Must score at least 80% on mastery tests (green bar with gold star) Skip modules with blue bar (exempt) If you get locked out of mastery test, reenter tutorial. Not completing required hours and modules may result in being excluded from the pilot.

7 Offline Activities Take approximately one hour to complete Go to my website to view PowerPoints: www.dcasonbc.weebly.com Must review with a tutor in the Tutoring Center Must be complete in order to meet with tutor Tutoring Center Hours ▫Monday 8:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. ▫Tuesday 8:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. ▫Wednesday 8:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. ▫Thursday 8:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. ▫Friday 8:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. Not completing an activity by the deadline may result in being excluded from the pilot.

8 Face-to-Face Meetings Every other week during my office hours ▫Monday 9:30-10:30 & 1:00-2:00 ▫Wednesday 9:30-10:30 & 1:00-2:00 ▫Thursday 1:00-2:00 Or by appointment Missing a meeting may result in being excluded from the pilot.

14 To Check Your Progress—Step 2 Click on “All Activities.”

15 To Check Your Progress—Step 3 Click on “View Progress Report.” Look at time on task.

16 Logging Out Click on “Sign Out.” Just exiting out of the browser may result in work being lost.
