12 Feature Name: Sharp and Quick Description: An embedded eBay Product search bar, which lets the user the option to search eBay products from the gadget's body by using various filters. Requires: Getting to know eBay API enabling querying eBay product database. Deep understanding of working with JSON. Client side support. Status: Almost done. We now have a working eBay search bar which presents the top the eBay search results for the users search and includes price, a link to the product's auction page on eBay, the products picture, time left for the auction and the shipping fee. There is also a neat GUI. Adding more filters like seller's ID, country, price range etc. Incorporating the feature in the gadgets body neatly. Time Estimation: 5 hours

13 Feature Name: Always On Top Description: Real Time up-to-date auction statistics feeds What is the highest bid? Where are you ranked among the bidders? Time left for the auction's closing Time since the auction opened Every other statistic available from the site! Requires: Getting to Know eBay API supporting auction, product and user structs. Working with Google Visualizations API for graceful statistics presentation. Working with Google Gadgets tabs. Status: Currently designing the users GUI. Added functioning tabs. Currently in a process of learning eBay's API which enables getting such information. Time Estimation: A week.

14 Feature Name: Keeping Your Eyes On The Prize: Description: When a new auction for a product the user was interested in pops in the web we let him know in the gadgets body or via email notification. Requires: Adding logic to the server side (working with AppEngine). Performing manipulations on the DB. Working with RSS feeds and/or AJAX. (getting to know eBay RSS) Adding client support. Status: We are now able to send email notifications to the user using an ASP.NET and XML code. Currently in learning phases of RSS and eBay's RSS API and App Engine. To cut time short also started thinking of an efficient algorithm in the server side. Time Estimation: 2 Weeks (This time also includes developing modules which other features will use).

15 Feature Name: King of the castle Description: Multiple auctions monitoring at the same time. Requires: Working with DB. Adding server side logic – checking for alerts on items which are not currently viewed. Status: Learning App Engine and using the server side and DB. Goes hand to hand with feature #3 and #5. Time Estimation: 1 Week.

16 Feature Name: Learning from the Course of History Description: Storing of the users previous searches & auctions. Requires: Adding client support – storing searches & auctions according to user preferences (history filters). Working with DB. Status: Learning App Engine and using the server side and DB. Time Estimation: 1 Week (this time also includes developing modules used in feature #4)

17 Feature Name: Throwing a Garage Sale Description: Monitoring a product you put up for Sale. How many bids your products have? What is the highest bid for your product? What is the average price people are willing to pay? Requires: Getting to know eBay API. Adding server side. Manipulations on DB to output statistics on the sail. Adding client support. Status: Currently in extensive learning phases of eBay's API. Almost finished working on feature #1, and started working on feature #2, which are the foundations of this feature. Time Estimation: 1 Week.

18 Feature Name: Feel it in the Air Description: SMS notifications Auction status SMS notifications SMSs in the critical hours of the auction prior to the outcome or when you are outbid. Requires: Learning to automatically send SMS through website or software. Server side &DB - supporting numerous users' notifications. Fusing this feature with the real time alerts feature. Status: We are now able to send SMS notifications (but not completely free of charge). Currently checking numerous options of SMS sending via software or websites and developing the logic which controls the terms in which the SMS will be send. Time Estimation: 4-5 Days.
