Regarding the trial itself Very little investment of time or resources (thanks to ANDS and Thomson Reuters) Excellent timing Few live records (9) - therefore Capacity to easily change our processes if we needed to Small task to fix older records if required We still had technical capacity to fix anything if we needed to

7. Reporting But the benefits were great Knowing for sure that it would work for our records Meaning we could tell researchers for sure that it would work for their datasets Chance to influence the process Better than coming in later and having to play catch up

Responsibilities – eResearch Anecdotally, we knew researchers were interested It’s a great carrot for making data open or available for sharing It’s a way for researchers to acknowledge the use of dataset – whether they have created the dataset themselves or not A very tangible way of acknowledging the dataset as a research output in its own right –And of acknowledging use of datasets created by others Why were we so keen?

9. Another chance to be proactive in this area Higher visibility for Flinders Another chance to be part of a collaboration (we love that stuff!) But really – why so keen?
