2  Born in Tangshan, Hebei in January 1963 with a family of military personnel, and he relocated to Beijing at the age of ten.  Graduated from the Central Academy of Drama in 1984.  Chinese actor, director and screenwriter in mainland, China.  Five people in his family who is his parents, a younger brother and a younger sister.  Treat family member very nicely and kind.

3  Three serious relationship.  The first one was a actress called Liu Xiaoqing---1986.  The second one was his ex-wife called Sandrine Chenivesse who is from France---1995.  The third one is another actress named Zhou Yun---2001.

5  Directed by Jiang Wen, Natalie Portman and 12 other famous directors.  Set “Love” as major topic and how people have different perspectives about it based on their knowledge.  The film tells a touching romance “thief Lover” story. 7  It tells the story about the growth process of a group of teenagers who joined the Red Guards during the Cultural Revolution.  Earned 50 million Yuan.  Listed by “Time Magazine" at the end of 1995 as “The World's Ninth Annual Top Ten Best Film“.  Named by "Time Magazine" as the most wanted movie in all over the world in the early of 1997.  It is widely recognized by people and marked the emergence of Chinese cinema entered into a new era.

8  Directed and acted by Jiang Wen in August 1998 – 1999.  The film is using a unique perspective which is the black humor film style.  It tells the story about the Japanese invaders come to China and How the local farmers defend their hometown from those invaders in the Sino-Japanese War period.  This film has won the Grand Jury Prize at Cannes International Film Festival in May 2000. But Jiang Wen was unauthorized attended this activity. So this film has been considered as “illegal entry“ and the government prohibited Jiang Wen to film a movie within 5 years as punishment.

10  Directed by Jiang Wen in 2005 and adapted the idea from the short stories called "Velvet“ that written by Ye Mi.  The film's narrative structure is using the image style and it tells four related different stories from 1958 to 1976.  Earned 20 million Yuan eventually but failed to recover the production costs of more than 6000 million Yuan.  This movie also been considered an film of art because it confuses people easily and it asks a lot of imaginations.

11  Collaboration with Jiang Wen, Ge You and Chow Yun- fat from September 2009 to February 2010.  It is a self-style black humor movie.  The story tells about how people find out the way of earning money by using jurisdictions.  "It has the charm to let the audience firmly nailed to the chair“---CNN  Director Jiang Wen's character and temperament affect the characteristics and style of the film, this trait has gradually become a symbol of his films which recognized by the industry and the audience.  “Let the Bullets Fly” has been released in late 2010 as a Lunar New Year Movie.  Gained more than 20 awards.

15  Won the Volkswagen Hundred Flowers Film Award for the best actor in 1987 by "Hibiscus Town“ at the age of 24.  “In the Heat of the Sun” has named by "Time Magazine" as “the Year of 1995 the World's Top Ten best films” at the First Place.  Won the Grand Jury Prize at 53rd Cannes International Film Festival by “Devils on the Doorstep” in 2000.
