Parent Support Stay in touch with your child’s teacher. They have a teacher created study guide for students to review, as well as, additional resources. Provide your child with a positive, nurturing learning environment at home and review science lessons with him/her on a regular basis. Familiarize yourself with the New York State Learning Standards and check their understanding with of the concepts and skills outlined in the standards. Provide opportunities for your child to discover their environment hands-on. Visit a science museum or explore your own backyard!
