Eternal Salvation “Eternal Salvation” A Free Gift of God ONCE saved ALWAYS saved!  As we say: “ONCE saved ALWAYS saved!”  Eternal = For Eternity! Salvation = Being Saved.  Yellow texts = Bible texts.  Yellow texts = Bible texts. White texts = explanations. Purple texts = points & lessons

ALL men are sinners! Everybody! STEP 1 to be saved: Confess SIN! Romans 3:23  “For ALL have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.”  “For ALL have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” Rom. 3: 23  Some “good” religious people think they are pretty good! They think they are pretty perfect! BUT THE BIBLE SAYS THAT (Rom. 3: 10)  “There is NONE righteous, no, not one. There is NONE that understands, there is NONE that searches for God.”  Point: No matter how “good” we think we are, we can NEVER save ourselves by our own goodness or SELF righteousness! Salvation is a FREE GIFT!  righteous = good, just, right, fair.

 “For by GRACE you have been saved through FAITH; and that NOT of your SELVES: it is the GIFT of God: Not of WORKS, lest any man should boast.”  “For by GRACE you have been saved through FAITH; and that NOT of your SELVES: it is the GIFT of God: Not of WORKS, lest any man should boast.” NEXT: Titus 3:5  “Not by works of righteousness which WE have done, but according to HIS mercy He saved us by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Ghost.” Titus 3:5  Works = Religion, good deeds, ceremonies, righteous or religious actions. Salvation is by GRACE (Undeserved MERCY!) NEVER by WORKS! See Ephesians 2:8,9

“Who then can be saved? With Man it is impossible!” Mark 10:25 says: “Who then can be saved? With Man it is impossible!” See Romans 3:20  “by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.”  “by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.” You cannot be saved by “being a good boy” obeying the rules or LAW! ...we conclude that a man is justified by FAITH without the deeds of the law ...we conclude that a man is justified by FAITH without the deeds of the law Romans 3:28 saved us, not according to OUR works, but according to HIS GRACE  (Jesus) saved us, not according to OUR works, but according to HIS GRACE 2 Tim. 1:9

Salvation is ONLY through Jesus Acts 4:12  “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is NONE OTHER NAME under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.”  Only Jesus, no other personality in Heaven or in Earth can save us. In John 14:6 Jesus said:  “I am the way, the Truth and the Life! No man can come to the Father but by Me!” “God so loved the World, that He gave His ONLY begotten (born) Son, that whosoever believes in HIM, should not perish, but have Everlasting Life”  John 3:16 “God so loved the World, that He gave His ONLY begotten (born) Son, that whosoever believes in HIM, should not perish, but have Everlasting Life” “I am the door; by Me if any man enter in, he SHALL be saved”  Jn 10:9 “I am the door; by Me if any man enter in, he SHALL be saved”

BELIEVE To Be Saved: 1) Confess Sin 2) BELIEVE on Jesus! Just BELIEVE in Him Trusting His Word & Promises!  John 3:16 “Whosoever BELIEVES in Him, should not perish!  John 11:25,26 “I am the resurrection and the life… whosoever BELIEVES in Me shall never die” Never die spiritually!  John 3:36 “HE that BELIEVES on the Son HAS everlasting life but he that believes not the Son shall not see life”  Acts 16:31 “BELIEVE on the Lord Jesus Christ & you shall be saved”  (FOR THIS STORY SEE ACTS 16:31)

Paul & Silas in prison, save a guard! Acts 16:31.  “25 And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them.  26 And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one's bands were loosed.  27 And the keeper of the prison awaking out of his sleep, and seeing the prison doors open, he drew out his sword, and would have killed himself, supposing that the prisoners had fled.  28 But Paul cried with a loud voice, saying, do yourself no harm: for we are all here.  29 Then he called for a light, and sprang in, and came trembling, and fell down before Paul and Silas,  30 and brought them out, and said, ‘Sirs, what must I do to be saved?’  31 And they said, BELIEVE on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you shall be saved, and thy house..

1)Confess Sin 2) Believe Jesus. 3) Receive Jesus. “But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name.”  John 1:12 “But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name.” “And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.”  Galatians 4:6 “And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.” “That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love”  Ephesians 3:17 “That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love” ”If any man hear my voice and open the door I will come into Him.”  Revelation 3:20 ”If any man hear my voice and open the door I will come into Him.”

Jesus Saves a Thief! See Luke 23:33-43  33 And when they were come to the place, which is called Calvary, there they crucified him, and the malefactors, one on the right hand, and the other on the left.  34 Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.  35 And the people stood looking. And the rulers also with them derided him, saying, He saved others; let him save himself, if he be Christ, the chosen of God.  36 And the soldiers also mocked him, coming to him, and offering him vinegar,  37 And saying, If thou be the king of the Jews, save thyself.  38 And a superscription also was written over him in letters of Greek, and Latin, and Hebrew, THIS IS THE KING OF THE JEWS.

A Thief Goes to Paradise!  39 And one of the malefactors which were hanged railed on him, saying, If you be Christ, save yourself and us.  40 But the other answering rebuked him, saying, Don’t you fear God, seeing you are in the same condemnation?  41 And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man has done nothing wrong.  42 And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when you come into thy kingdom.  43 And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto you, TODAY shall you be with me in PARADISE.

(See Romans 10:9,10) To Be Saved: 1) Confess Sin 2) Believe on Jesus! 3) Receive Jesus 4) Confess Jesus! (See Romans 10:9,10)  “If you shall CONFESS with your mouth and shall believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved.” (See Luke 12:8)  “Also I say unto you, Whosoever shall confess me before men, him shall the Son of man also confess before the angels of God”  When we pray with our mouth to receive Jesus in our hearts we confess Jesus just by calling on His Name.  “Dear Jesus come into my heart. In Jesus’ Name I pray. Thank you Jesus.”

HOW CAN I KNOW THAT I AM SAVED? Because God said so! Romans 3:23  “For ALL have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.”  “For ALL have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” John. 1: 12  “As many as RECEIVED Him to them He gave the right to become Children of God, even to them that BELIEVE on His Name.”  “He that believes on the Son HAS everlasting life!  Point: You can’t see it, hear it, feel it, smell or touch it, but you KNOW by FAITH in GOD’s WORD that you HAVE Eternal Life! Just trust in His great wonderful unconditional love for you! Jesus loves you!

4 STEPS TO SALVATION CONFESS, BELIEVE, RECEIVE, CONFESS Romans 3:23  CONFESS you are a sinner! You also make mistakes and are not perfect! You also come short of the glory of God. BELIEVE Him  “BELIEVE on the Lord Jesus Christ and you shall be SAVED!” Then RECEIVE Him  “As many as RECEIVED Him to them gave he the right to become Children of God, even to them that believe on His Name.”  Then CONFESS Jesus! “That if you shall CONFESS with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe … you SHALL BE SAVED!”

You can never LOSE Eternal Salvation even if you make mistakes & fall, otherwise it wouldn’t be eternal! “He that comes to Me I will in no wise cast out.”  John 6:37 “He that comes to Me I will in no wise cast out.” “I give unto them Eternal Life and they shall NEVER perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of My hand.”  John 10: 28 “I give unto them Eternal Life and they shall NEVER perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of My hand.” “I will NEVER leave you, nor forsake you.”  Hebrews 13: 5B “I will NEVER leave you, nor forsake you.”  BUT THE LORD WILL CHASTEN YOU FOR WRONG DOING “As many as I love I rebuke and chasten.”  Revelation 3: 19 “As many as I love I rebuke and chasten.”
