5 © 2008 Update 1/3 Technical work packages Technical Work Packages Hardware development – sensor tags, low costs tags and readers, miniature tags, tags adapted for metal and dielectric objects, high read-rate reader antennas, smart objects (smart shelf) Network – Track and trace analytics framework and discovery services Security - Design of a security framework for the Discovery Service and for other RFID networked services such as the EPCIS
